As I get a little older I guess I have started to become more interested in doing things like this. I didn't grow up in a small town, my mother never made jam. We had smuckers right off the shelf from the grocery store. Maybe that's why I'm so intrigued? I like the thought of fresh jam in ball jars filling up my pantry, shared with neighbors and friends in the middle of the summer. Additionally, I would love to pick my own strawberries. There are some places here when you can pay $3 for a basket and fill it to the brim. Sounds nice, right?
