For anyone that has never done this, highly recommend! Airboats remind me of drifting in cars except you’re on water and getting the spray of the cool salty swamp. You only need about 6inches of water and you can ride over reeds and such. Very freeing. And yes, we saw some gators on our trip!

Little scary..BC it's going so fast..N it's so loud that you have to wear ear protector...Makes me think...What if someone falls...They wouldn't even be able to hear them call for help😅. I held baby alligator and it was cute...Mama not so much.

It was a rather long drive from Orlando to the Everglades but well worth the trip.

Went to New Orleans with a good friend and decided to try a swamp tour, and the swamp man (I can't for the life of me remember his name) giving the tour threatened to feed us to the gators since we were Eagles fans! But it was a great trip, the bayou was beautiful, and the swamp man ended up inviting us over for dinner for some alligator, team loyalties aside.

I thought the boat would be faster, but it was still cool to see all these animals like snakes, baby-alligators and adult alligators. You definitely have to keep your hands out of the water..

My dad lives in Florida and has taken me on these rides a few times... it seems like it would be scary but it's actually super peaceful and lovely!

Colleen, Meg, and I went on a swamp tour when in New Orleans for Autism conference!  We didn't do the fast air boat, but did boat across alligator waters.  However, it was the winter - so we only got to see one alligator :(   We did get to see swamp pigs though - so much better than alligators anyways!

This was a fun tour we completed on one of our trips to Florida.  Everyone should do this at least once.

I completed this goal in my bucket list a month after I moved to Miami on 2011. I actually did not know how to swim if I fell so It was kind of scary. Other than that experience was fun. Could you imagine if I have fallen?

Went to the Everglades while visiting my brother who also was an exchange student in the States. We didn't see any gators though, but it was fun to try the airboat - although it was very loud!
