I love building gingerbread houses and do it every year at Christmas. I have never made my own gingerbread, but I hope to one year. The only problem with doing this is that it is sort of wasteful. Eating it isn't the best, but you don't really like to throw it out.
Sat for hours with my partner and made a lovely gingerbread house together. It was one of the happiest moments in my life, to finally be able to make a gingerbread house. I was so proud of it.
I build one every year at my mums its now a tradition over Christmas ! :)

I made my first gingerbread house at age 14 xD It broke .__. yeah...
we didn't build them from scratch but we did get a kit and they were fun to build.
I spent the longest time (about 4 hours) making a gingerbread MANSION!!!! I was nver able to do it when I was little, so I dd it during high school :)
