My special place is in my hometown of Manchester, it's a place to reminisce on the past, and contemplate on the future. It makes me feel...alive. My special place in this amazing city is a hidden gem, not many people know it's there. It's down by Deansgate Locks, hidden underneath the city. It is a timeline, a commemoration of a past era. It shows the rise and fall of the Hacienda, a cornerstone of modern British music, developed and championed here in Manchester. Music plays a huge part in my life, so seeing a hidden timeline of the music era in Manchester, an era that revolutionised music forever, just makes me feel alive. That's my special place.

There are many but one that will always stick with me is lying under the Sydney Harbour Bridge (South side) in the long grass, so close to civilisation but unseen, and listening to the acoustic sounds of the bridge as commuters interact with it. Magic!
