I wasn't sure what to expect, as it doesn't look all that exciting to me. I did two paddles and really must say its not my thing. I imagine it might be fantastic over a stunning reef and awesome coral, but I still don't think its the activity for me.

I got to paddle with a "fever" of stingray ( thats the collective name for a group of stingray) and had to battle a fast moving tidal current. I ended up paddling some 5 kilometres in total. so i can now say its done and checked off my list.

I took my first paddle boarding lesson with my new friend/adventurer, Marisa.  I was a little nervous at first about standing up and balancing on the board.  I managed to do so without falling!!!! I did fairly well... according to our instructor Terri, but my right arch began to ache so I sat down after the first hour.  Overall, a very enjoyable experience that I will do again!!!

Really fun, relaxing and calm when you get the hang of it. At paddlefest they allowed us to rent several different boards of different styles, widths and lengths to try out.

My step dad recently bought a paddle boarding company which is super cool and it means that I can now go out on the water whenever I want. Its is super fun and I rely enjoy it.

this was my first time to paddle board. i dont know the rules they apply here in Boracay. when the instructor told us how to use the board. me and my cousins ride and paddled directly without knowing the instructions. we went as far as we can and we were rescued by the coast guards because we were already on a non-safe zone for paddlers. as far as i remember, the island of boracay is so little when we were at the middle of the sea. we thought there is no limits on how far can we go. hahaha. The coast guard told us that on his 4year stay here in Boracay, we were the only one who went that far. (record holders here) haha. it was fun though.

So funny to do this thing. Its not as easy as it seems.. but i love it.

I went with a friend to Cozumel, Quintana Roo, Mex.  The blue waters made it amazing. I would love make it again.

This was something that was completely unexpected and was not planning to do that day, but I saw that it was a choice at this lake and I jumped on it! Good balance is required if you want to stand on the board, but you still get the full experience by sitting, it's just a little more work. Very peaceful and totally up for doing it again.

When I went to Fiji, one of the free activities to do on the beach was Paddle Boarding. It was quite easy being able to stand. My muscles and legs got a good workout.

June 2014 Cruise

I didn't fall as much as Cordell, but I also didn't stand as long as him. For some reason, we couldn't stay in the boundaries we were assigned. We were in Cozumel, Mexico on Paradise Beach and I can't wait to go again because it was an experience I loved at a price even I couldn't complain about.
