At least one of your clips has to be on the red cable at all times...

That was just one of the instructions we received before starting the treetop zip-line obstacle course.  We were told it would take 3 1/2 hours to complete and there were no restrooms (aside from nature's restroom).  Luckily Jens and I were well fed, unlike one or two other people who hadn't had a chance to eat lunch.

We were only about two stories away from the ground so I wasn't terrifying, however, some of the obstacles were a little unnerving.  They swayed from side to side and would be even worse if someone else was on with you at the same time. Nevertheless, the obstacles were a good way to break up the zip-line experience.

On the home stretch of the course we hit a string of zip-lines with no obstacles.  Our guide told us that it had just been completed 2 days prior!  On top of that, he said they were still working on extending the course to make it 5 1/2 hours when completed.  5 1/2 hours with no bathroom?

Anyway, I had a great time, we had a great group and I'd do it again.

Okay this one was pretty lame. We were driving on the highway and saw a ziplining place and decided we'd give it a shot lol

I'll go for a more extreme one next time :)

I went zip-lining for the first time and it was amazing. I have so much fun doing the course with my mom and my niece.

Went zip lining at The Wilds with Jayne Brickner,  So fun!!  Loved moving through the air and looking out over the land and seeing the animals. I am afraid of heights but I quickly got over it.  Would do it again!!  Hard to believe The Wilds is in Ohio.  I felt like I was in another State..  Our picture looks like we were in a fun house- not sure why we look stretched out. : )

We did this at Adventures on the Gorge in West Virginia.  We did both the Treetops and the Gravity Zip lines.  We enjoyed both but if I were to go back I would only do Gravity.  Treetops is too tame once you have done Gravity.

Gunstock Mountain Ski has the ZipTour Zip Lining. I think as scary as it seems to me, that it will be empowering to do! What the heck, I need to live a little. I'm not crazy about heights, but it looks like so much fun.

The experience was epic!
