I bought a classical guitar as I dont really like the acoustic one. & I named it JJ. Hahaha weird name though.
It was a little hard as first and the tip of my fingers were in pain. But after awhile, i'm used to it.
Now I could play some songs on it and sing along too. I'm still mastering plucking so I hope that I could do fingerstyle songs soon!
I started guitar lessons in 1997 when I was 6 years old. I took up to grade 4 electric guitar, and then switched to acoustic when I was 15. I participated in annual concerts with other musicians, and it was a really rewarding experience. I don't play much anymore, but I pick it up now and then and play something - it is a great form of expression and stress relief (:
Amazing! Definitely try -- I love it!
I learned to play the guitar by myself when I was in highschool. It can be difficult sometimes when you feel you're not making any progress at all, but when you know a few scales and chords, you can begin to improvise and let yourself go. Just trust your ears, don't be afraid to play to and for people, and play what you like !
Good luck with that, I hope you enjoy it as much as I did =)

Well, I learned the guitar well enough to sing and play and have friends record my songs.
