After driving across the US and down into Mexico we finally arrived in San Francisco, we caught a train down to the wharf. On the train we met two girls and got to talking eventually we went to lunch with them. I hate to say it but one of the girls was a model and unfortunately she was stereotypically a model, everything was about her and at lunch she ordered fish and then complained it was "too fishy", not sure what that means, but my mate and i had a good laugh about it. We ended up having an awesome day drinking beers at a local pub.

I have previously been to Fishermans Wharf when I was just a young kid, you can see me and my brother in an old photo from about 1982

I only spent a few hours in San Francisco and a lot of it was spent here. My mom got me tickets to Alcatraz and the boat takes off from Fishermans Wharf so we parked down there and explored while we waited for our boat.I ended up buying myself some San Francisco shirts and taking my photo with Elmo. I saw lots of new and weird things......I loved it! =D

It smelt fishy. Ha! Summer of 2015. We walked all over the bay area and found a guy doing a boat tour under the golden gate bridge. Cold and wet, but awesome!

Fisherman's Wharf is a beautiful place. I specifically went to attend the JPOP Summit nearby.

Spent two days in San Francisco (13th-14th September 2015) and this was the first place I went. Lovely atmosphere, great people and amazing seafood restaurants!

We started our USA road trip in San Francisco May 29, 2017. SF was a really different city form what i expected. We went to Fishermans Wharf, Pier 39 and ate Bubba Gump Shrimp a whole day. Perfect chill day by the sea.

I love taking day trips to the bay, 2 hour drive max to get there. My friends and I walk around, check out shops, maybe see a giants or niner game, go on a hike, or go by the water during the nice wether.

San Franciscos a beautiful city but Fishermans Wharf is very touristy. It does however provide great Bay Area views!

Cracked crab, sourdough bread and a crisp white wine are essential yums if you visit here; Ghiradelli chocolate for dessert!

I was born & raised in Northern California. I now live in San Diego. My experience has always been nice. Nothing too fancy. One place I always stop at near Fisherman's Wharf is Ghirardelli Chocolate. =]
