All though I only spent a few hours in San Francisco I will never forget it,I already have plans to return in a couple months and cross off a few more goals! =D The hills in that town are so steep I would never park diagnal like that....you have to see it to believe it lol.It was wet and cold but we had tickets to Alcatraz so we decided to drive down Lombard Street before parking at Fisherman's Wharf. I got to experience the atmosphere of big city life walking through Fishermans Wharf. On the boat ride over to Alcatraz I got to see the Golden Gate Bridge.
Next time I visit San Francisco I would really like to either drive or walk across the Golden Gate,Visit the Golden Gate Park,Chinatown and the Muir Woods National Monument and of course ride the cable cars. It is a town you have to spend many days in!
This was the last stop on my travels of America this summer. Again I didn’t get to see much of it as I was in he city for approximately 24 hours. I did however get to walk across the Golden Gate Bridge which was pretty cool (it was extremely windy and very cold). The only downside was that it was very cloudy so there wasn’t the best views that day. I will definitely be going back there again as there is a lot more for me to see that I didn’t have the chance to this time around.
Went to Golden Gate, watched a graffiti artist paint in the MUNI tunnels in the middle of the night, went to a rave
I went to San Fran and ran the Rock and Roll half marathon. I loved what I was able to see, I was there for such a sort time that it was really hard to get to do much. But of course I found the time to find some amazing food places.
