In Year 7 of Secondary School we went on a school trip to Paris. As well as doing a number of interesting activities and seeing some great sights, the highlight was witnessing the Eiffel Tower in the heart of Paris and getting to climb the historical landmark.

Paris was such a beautiful city & the iconic Eiffel Tower was more breathtaking than I had imagine- especially when lit up at night

A beautiful sight to behold! I also got a chance to eat at a local cafe and ate crêpes for the first time.

A modern wonder.  In the City of Love.   So inspiring during the day, and romantic at night

I went to Paris with my sister and my good friend Rachel in the summer of 2012. Instead of using the lift, we climbed the stairs.

Saw the tower when on European vacation.  A story that I'd like to remember...

Arrived in Paris very early in the morning (0530?).  When we got to a hostel (which of course was somewhat randomly selected from Fodor's Guide), the somewhat large lady behind the desk said she didn't have any rooms.  But Beth and I were pretty friendly and persuasive.  The lady got on this intercom thing and said... "darling,... darling,... in room 510.  Could you please come down to the front desk"  She then asked someone at six in the morning to pack up their stuff and move to a different room so Beth and I could have their room.  I recollect something about smaller beds verses largers beds.
