Louvre is just simply amazing! I could spend a whole day there and it wouldn't be enough

This is somewhere I must go again. A few hours are not enough time to fully experience this treasure. I did, however, get to see the Mona Lisa!

We didn't get much time here, so I'd love to go back and spend a few hours taking a proper look around. However, I did get to see the Mona Lisa in person. My immediate thought was that the painting is a lot smaller than I imagined it to be! It's also surreal to see how much security surrounds that single art piece - a huge glass case, security guards, etc. Pretty amazing stuff :) And I still don't know the secret to her smile...

I went to the Louvre both in 2006 and 2015 when I visited Paris. I still haven't had enough time to explore it! You can get seriously lost in there, it's great because I got to see their Egyptian exhibition!

While in Paris, I walked up to The Louvre and almost changed my mind about touring. "I could use 12 euro on a meal... or on a shirt... endless things. Plus, I could be shopping right now... I could go back to the hotel to meet up with some of my friends before dinner..." Looking back now, I cannot believe that I thought about skipping out on the Louvre. I would definitely go again if given the chance.

Somewhere around this time, I wound up in Paris with only a few hours to spare before the louvre closed and having to leave the next morning.  I got to see the Mona Lisa - certainly an experience I'll never forget.  Not nearly enough time - I could have spent a couple of days there, but so glad I've had the chance to see it, especially the inverted pyramid.

I chose to travel instead of a quinceañera party. And I have never regretted that decision not for a single second. Musée du Louvre is one of the most beautiful places I've been in my life. It is glutted with history, sensations, so much art you feel bad because you know you won't be able to remember all the things you are watching. Anyway, the place itself is a work of art. I couldn't stop imagining how many feet stood where I was standing, how many hands touched what I was touching, and how many eyes, how many souls felt the same way I was feeling even before I was born.

Visited twice within 48hrs with a Paris city pass, free entry and you skip the queues.  Very busy in the Height of summer.  I was with my lovely son.  Not really a place to go with a lively kid.  But i saw what i wanted to see.  Have a lovely photo of the Lourve glass pyramid with the que snaking behind and beyond my vision.  Be prepared is all i will say.

Had a total of 3 nights in Paris, did what i wanted to do and enjoyed relaxing at a cafe a few minutes away from our hotel, mocktails vs cocktails.  Very pleasant experience.
