There is no better way to travel than with your family. I was lucky enough to travel to Egypt with my siblings, mom, and aunts/uncles/cousins/grandfather from Libya. While in Ciaro we stopped by the breathtaking pyramids, and were even able to go through an underground tunnel into one of them. To top it off I rode a camel and shopped with my family from the street vendors.
I did this when I was seven... I think. It was during a heat wave and it was so hot I felt my hair was going to burn at teh ends. I remember I went inside them and it was so insane! It was buring hot though and there wasn't much to see so I wouldn't recomend it. It gives you bragging rights though and I like saying I've been inside.
Mom, Dad and me - after spending the entire week on the Nile from Aswan, Luxor came to here. The times of pharaohs must have been amazing!
Everyone tries to make you ride their camels or sell you stuff but otherwise it was an unique experience.
