This is one of those books that no matter your age and/or gender you will be able to relate to. And for some of us it seems like we have more bad days while things never seem to go right when we want them to or turn out just the way that they do for others who are always winning, getting better grades easier, etc.

I love how the book ends on his mother giving him the lesson but he doesn't seem to embrace it. It allows you when reading aloud to be able to put in the passion that you feel in those times when things aren't working out for you right and to admit that we all have bad days without shoving down your throat a "Life isn't fair, suck it up buttercup" mood but to allow yourself to let the bad go with sleep.... And to have another day to look foward to when you wake up.
