The Great Synagogue in Pilsen is the largest synagogoue in the Czech Republic, the second largest synagogue in Europe and even the third largest synagogue in the world. 

I was born in Pilsen and I visit Pilsen really often, but I have never been in the Great Synagogue before (I´m so ashamed). But today, I finally visited it!:) It is a really monumental building with stunning architecture. There are a lot of beautiful frescos and windows with colourful mosaics with floral motifs. Amazing experience!
