While this trip wasn't quite what I was expecting, I did enjoy it. I bought some crystals, chatted with some vendors from out of town, almost got another tattoo, and got to see Marietta for the first time. We now know that we want to visit the city again to explore and see what else we can get into, but the expo didn't quite live up to the hype for me.
"In the ballroom of the haunted and historic Lafayette Hotel, we will gather together all those who delight in the supernatural. From hands-on activities such as psychic readings, henna, and Victorian table-tipping to speakers teaching you the secrets of haunted objects and locations, to an unique array of creepy, creative merchandise, there will be an array of things to experience and learn. Meet paranormal investigators from around Ohio and West Virginia and hear their amazing stories of paranormal encounters in places that you can visit too! We will also provide a space for paranormal enthusiasts to show off their best evidence! Bring your EVPs, your pictures of shadow people, your videos of unexplained activity and show where you've been and share what you've experienced! We want to hear from you! This is the place to experience, talk and shop paranormal! Ghost tours of the Lafayette Hotel will be offered throughout the day and a special tour and 2 hour ghost hunt of Peoples Bank Theatre will be available after the Expo for an additional price."
