I can say that I have got several states already tucked under my belt for having visited even with my rule that I have had to have been in at least three places within that state before I will actually agreed to have visited it.

Due to my childhood I have been in FL and eastern CO as both sets of parents' families lived in those respective places. I also was in MO a bunch as it is to the east of KS while a lot of things for field trips or big reunions happen across the state line.

I moved to VA for nine years while because of the Piedmont region I got to hang around in NC a lot more than any other neighboring state. After my exilement in the East I made my way back to KS.

Then with my church I was able to visit IA, IL, IN and OK for different church activities.

And just recently we drove back to VA for a funeral which took us through MO, IL, IN, KY, WV, VA and then TN on the way back. While it isn't going to end here for at least for this year we have two family weddings scheduled will need us to drive to IA.
