I finally did it! When I saw they would be in Hamburg, I knew I had to go – even though I had to travel in a bus for 5 hours each direction, and none of my friends could join me. But it was AMAZING! I was literally blown away!

At the present the group consists of Máiréad Nesbitt (at the violin), Chloë Agnew, Lisa Kelly and Lisa Lambe. The first three of these I really was looking forward to, because they have been part of the group for years. I didn’t know Lisa Lambe, and I have to confess that I was a bit skeptical. I was so wrong! I am totally in love with her after seeing her performance. She is absolutely adorable and fits the group perfectly. I hope she stays with them for a long time!

Lisa Kelly was just wonderful; she hit every note perfectly, as always. And Chloë was so sweet, and she has grown up – of course. Máiréad was like everywhere at the same time, running and dancing while playing like crazy. It was stunning.

But I also have to mention the background musicians and singers. They did a wonderful job, playing and acting and obviously having fun. They all were! So obviously they enjoyed the music and being together. They weren’t just making music; they also acted the lyrics with a wonderful flow.

You can't see it but the hall was huge. There were lots of people behind me and above me on the balcony.

The artists didn't want us to make pictures or videotakes, and I kinda respected that, but I couldn't stand taking this quick shot; it fails to show Celtic Woman, but maybe it gives a slight impression of how excited the audience were; at this point the standing ovation seemed neverending, and people were dancing and yelling out loud!

Conclusion: It was breath-taking. I will definitely try to see them again. If you ever get the chance to see them life, DO IT! You won’t ever regret!
