Both sides of my family are Irish, my mothers side are from County Cork (the South of Ireland) and my fathers side are from County Donegal (the top of Ireland). I am closer to my mothers side of the family so I spent a lot of my childhood holidays and weddings in Cork and Kerry. I met my American cousins on my fathers side of the family on a road trip of the East Coast. Since then they have visited us in the UK and we have visited Donegal together which was one of the most enjoyable, alcoholic holidays I have been on. 

I mean to keep in touch with my extended family as best as I can and visit them as much as possible.
