The first picture (the black-and-white) of Lawrin isn't my picture.

Lawrin was the 1938 winner of the Kentucky Derby and the only state-bred horse to win. At the time of his death he was buried along with his sire on the farm but as with all progress the farm was sold while this small spot is all the remains as a testament to this winning horse.

Unfortunately the weather was bad so the Woolford sign is an awful picture but everything else seemed to turn out good.
