The sounding of this goal may seem broad but this is definitely one of those in which everyone seemed to have to been appeased so altogether there are 216 winners and finalists with most split up in different categories. So for us this was challenged in trying to do any of the 8 without worrying who was the final finalist, which itself has 24 entries.

- Dyche Hall (Lawrence) - We visited this museum after hours due to a lecture called Tooth & Claw on 9/14/17.
- Buffalo Bill Cultural Center (Oakley) - 7/16/2020
- Brookville Hotel (Abilene) - 7/12/2020
- Wheatfields Bakery Cafe (Lawrence) - A place we rarely frequent due to it is in our living niche.
- Fritz's Union Station (KC) - My hubbie took me here as part of our first year annivery trip. Apr 8, 2019
- C.W. Parker Carousel (Abilene) - 4/16/18. My new husband and I took our brother out to Abilene for a day of fun.
- Greyhound Hall of Fame (Abilene) - 4/16/18. Although I had been there previously before this was part of the trip with my hubbie and brother.
- Coronado Heights (near Lindsborg) - 6/18/2020
- Maxwell Wildlife Refuge (near Canton) - 6/18/2020. Was in the midst of a bison herd crossing the road. Loved it!
- Mushroom Rock State Park (Elsworth Co.) - 6/18/2020. This is a partial incomplete for by the time we reached it we were caught between three storms with weather mimicking a hurricane. As a result we caugth the rocks and trees at the entrance but weren't able to hike the rest of the way. It's on our list to go back.
