School trip. Bruxelles really isn't that exciting a place. But we had a nice time hanging around together, and the weather was incredible.
I enjoyed visiting the parliament, where three of the interpreters told us about their job. We also had the chance to try interpreting ourselves. It was really exciting, and I have considered it as a possible way of living. I am good at languages and stuff.
That’s by the way another thing I liked about Bruxelles. Everyone talking French was a great opportunity to try out my own French skills, and I think it went pretty well.
I liked the French fries and Belgian waffles. And the architecture is stunning! The mix of beautiful ancient and modern buildings gave the city a great atmosphere.
I kinda liked the Magritte Museum, but even more I enjoyed visiting the part with paintings from the 16th century. Our two teachers were great company because they knew almost everything worth knowing about the style and the period, as well as the mythological background.
Credits to my friends Nanna and Christina for the amazing pictures!
