This was The Strokes. I went through a phase where I was absolutely obsessed with them, and though I would no longer consider them my favourite group, I haven't been so madly in love with a band since. Anyways, I saw them at Lollapalooza the year they did their first show in 4 years or whatever it was. My mom came with me, bless her soul, and somehow we made our way to the front row and had 50 000 insane fans pushing right on us!
