I played guitar casually for around 20 years, then picked up a Fluke three years ago. A year later, received a cigar box ukulele kit for a gift. Enjoyed building it, but it didn't sound great (sound is round! how can you expect great sound from a cardboard box?).
On a recent trip to Kauai, finally broke down and got a really nice Kamaka, which I've been playing like crazy.
I'm no master, but think it's safe to say I've "learned" the ukulele at this point. Still need to practice more though :)
