Go on a cruise

Having always been on self-catering holidays in villas, where we'd drive to all the way from England, going on a cruise was a lovely break. It was all inclusive, it had a gym, a theatre, a cinema, a spa, a hair salon, two pools and much more!

We travelled across the Mediterranean on Royal Caribbean's "Serenade of the Seas". Along the way, we stopped off at many places including Rome, Livorno and Amalfi in Italy, Cannes in France, Barcelona in Spain, Santorini and Athens in Greece and Kusadasi in Turkey. The places we saw were amazing, I literally can't describe in words how lucky I feel to have visited places like the colosseum in Rome and the acropolis in Athens.

As well as the amazing places we saw, we also met some amazing people. Being on a cruise with such a diverse amount of people from all different countries certainly opened my eyes to the world. I found that the American's and Canadian's were very outgoing and friendly and would talk to anybody and everybody and this made me realise how introverted some people in England can be. It has definitley made me want to be more confident, and do more things!

This will definitly not be the last cruise I go on. The crew onboard the ship were amazing, the shops and all of the services they offered were literally invaluble. You simply couldn't ask for a better holiday.
