Beautiful and stunning, I couldn't really believe I was there. It was so pretty and the colors were outstanding!
Before we had gone to the main area of the canyon, where you pay and all of the museums are, we pulled off to a side where there was a small portion of the canyon. There were no gates or security so you could basically do whatever you pleased. There was even a couple who sat on a rock down below on a cliff and sat.
When you got to the main canyon area there are a lot of little shops, restaurants, and even places to see a film about the canyon.
It was nice to see so many people all over the world there also.
Bring your camera but also bring sunscreen, water, sunglasses, and patience.
Sometimes you'll have to wait in the sun and heat for a good view. You also have to park a lot (if you are going to many of the different kinds of outlooks) and walk a lot to outlooks.
It wore me out but the pictures and footage I have are pricelesss.
