Absolutely UNREAL experience...! Went with my buddy Mark to Pamplona for two nights with only our backpacks and train tickets back to Barcelona. We slept in parks and partied with locals all night, but on the morning of Saturday, July 12th, I decided to gather in a small plaza with hundreds of exhausted, sangria-drenched brothers to run with the bulls in the famous Encierro. Once 8 o'clock hit, I could hear the first rocket go off that signaled the bulls had been released. The second rocket followed moments later that signalled the bulls had reached the front lines of runners. About a minute after that, I could hear the bulls coming up behind me. TIME TO SPRINT! What a rush... I ran beside most of the bulls for all of about 5 seconds, but those 5 seconds felt like hours. Jumping over bodies. Looking the bulls right in the eyes. Running literally for your life. When I finally ran into the stadium, I felt like a gladiator. The roar of the crowd made me feel immortal. The event made me feel truly alive, and I'll never forget it..!
