Meditation/mindfulness exercises didn't quite meet my needs (diagnosed Bipolar II: I have episodes of depression) so I was told Yoga, particularly Bikram could help me attain a higher level of focus and mental awareness.


Experience

Found out about this place because of a convenient Groupon deal. Very nice staff at this location. Got into the room that was preheated. As the session goes on the temperature is increased. The instructor recites instructions and goes around helping students with their postures. There's a mental hump to get over but once you do you get a natural high and calmness. It's worth it to stay in the room for the whole time.
