I would like to travel the Oregon trail in a covered wagon. I would only rest at roadside rest areas or campsites and sleep in my wagon. I would only eat what I could bring with me or what I could trade/barter for (if I find friendly Indians or trading post LOL)  or hunt or fish for (I can find hunting & fishing areas everywhere.). I would do it with minimum modern technology. It would take me about 126-130 days with the average speed of 3-4 MPH and traveling 15 mi. per day. The Oregon trail starts in independence, MO. and goes west to Oregon City, OR.
