In the summer of 2015, I went to India on a regional girl guiding trip with eleven other girls and four leaders. It was a truly incredible experience which will stay with me forever. As part of the trip, we did community projects at the Girl guiding world centre in Pune. I worked at a school for slum children, which was completely eye-opening and astonishing to see how different and poorly other people live. 

As part of the trip we also visited the Taj Mahal, went for an elephant and a camel ride, and bought saris.
