On 02/07/2016, I got my first tattoo. Well, the first real tattoo, no fake or stick & poke crap. Nope, this was the real deal. I got a small, 2 inch anchor on my ankle. Pretty cliché, right? Well it does actually have a meaning behind it. It's to represent my love for the ocean and the Navy. I'm really happy with how it looks and the placement and everything.
As far as the actual experience of getting it done goes, I'm not sure how many more I'll be getting. It hurt like hell. It felt like someone had a straight razor blade and was just dragging it down my leg. It hurt a hell of a lot more than I expected it to. By far. It only took about 40 minutes and I just talked throughout most of the session. Not necessarily because I had a lot to say, but more to distract myself from the pain.
Towards the end I actually started getting twitches in my leg and I think I may have kicked her once or twice. Oh well, it still looks good.
