When I was younger my family used to take road trips all the time. All over the place. We took multiple 14 hour trips to Utah to visit mom's family, a few multi-day trips to Arkansas to visit dad Rick's family, and one time we took a cross-country trip all the way to New York. I loved family road trips. We took them so often that we had a routine. We each had our designated seats and we brought pillows and blankets and books and dad Rick made a stand for this little tv to go between the 2nd row bucket seats so that all of us kids could watch movies and stuff and we even played the nintendo-64 on it sometimes. Road trips were great when I was a kid because I never had to drive, I could sleep whenever I wanted, and I wasn't yet dealing with all of the stomach issues I deal with now.
