I grew up in North Dakota. The Northern Lights can be quite bright and beautiful. I’ve seen them on several occasions. The most notable were once on a date and around a campfire on the shores of a lake in Minnesota.

The lights themselves were not the point. The people you are with and the situation you are in are more important.
