I started taking hypertension medicine in 2012 on the advice from my doctor that my blood pressure and tri-gliceride are above normal, way above normal, on top of that, I was 84kgs for 167cm. I was fat, too fat for my height. The next year, my officemate Kenneth challenged me to a wager, one to loss the weight the most within one month shall treat the other to a japanese buffet (ironic that the wager is a buffet when we're trying to loos weight). I bluffed him, he bluffed me, in other words we cancelled bet as either thought the other was winning. But at that point I've already invested so much time at the gym and jog to the point that I lost 10kg in 1 month. I find jogging to be very effective, from 1 km per run, I pushed my self to go longer every. Until one day, I woke up with no motivation to run, and so I signed up to a marathon. I joined my first half marathon after 6 months since starting and finished the course in 2hrs 15mins, not bad for a first timer. 6 months later, I completed my first full-marathon, cramping to the finish line with heavily blistered foot at 5hrs 10mins.
