I'm afraid of sharks and deep water even though I've always been a strong swimmer. I would like to overcome that fear.
Done: Swallowed a lot of saltwater. I was worried about sharks but fatigue and seasickness took my mind off it quickly. I caught a few waves and it felt good. I'm not at the point of realizing when I've caught the wave until the ride is halfway done. The part I liked best was learning to read the waves. It's very peaceful and meditative.
