Went to visit a friend who worked at the Hyatt Regency Lake Las Vegas. We spent my first night visiting the biggest and best casinos on the strip, The Venetian, MGM grand, Caesar's Palace, New York, New York (went on the roller coaster), Paris, Treasure Island (watched the pirate show out the front), Luxor, Excalibur, saw Siegfried and Roy's tigers at the Mirage and finished at the Bellagio watching the fountains with Frank Sinatra's Luck be a lady playing. It was pretty amazing. I remember tapping the wall at the entrance to Luxor and it sounding hollow. The canals with Gondolas and the ceiling of the market square inside the Venetian painted to look like its daytime was pretty cool. The Roller Coaster around New York, New York was as cool as the steam rising through the man hole covers in the city streets inside the casino and the pretzel (I've not tasted better even in New York, although by then, I was pretty famished).
