Found it on sale and bought it. Hilarious movie! I don't remember the last time I laughed so hard watching a movie. 

  My middle son and I went to a pumpkin patch on a school field trip. He picked out a good sized pumpkin and that weekend he and I turned it into a jak-o-lantern. Fun time and good memory to build with one of my kids.

Truly incredible hard science fiction. Can't wait to read more in this series, but this is the first book in the series and it's a real page burner. Couldn't wait to see what the next chapter had to offer and never wanted to put it down!...

  Not nearly as good as Divergent.

Great book series! 

  I finally earned another promotion with a raise at my job. It took several years of hard work and dedication, but it's all worth it! The corresponding pay raise will really help out as I've been blessed with a large family.

  Honestly, I can't tell the difference between gelato and ice cream other than it's more expensive. I enjoyed it, but for what I paid I could have had twice the amount of Rocky Road or pistachio ice cream.

Great movie to see with my boys, both of whom thought it was AWESOME!

I took both my sons out for a "Boys Day Out" and one of the places we went was the Montgomery Zoo.  As we rode the skylift above and just to the  left of their enclosure the two male lions started roaring.  The three of us were thrilled!

By the time my kids were old enough for the story they were too old to be interested in Daddy reading to them.  I should have started when they were younger, I guess. Oh well. 

My dad actually got me one for Christmas last year. Came as a surprise. 

Had a great time running the Color-Vibe color run with my wife, my 3 kids, my sister, and my mother!  It was so much fun that I think we'll try to make it a family tradition to do this every fall! 

It was one of the hardest, most difficult things I've ever done, but I completed it!  I'm tired, stiff, sore, exhausted, still finding mud on parts of me several days later... And I can't wait to do it again! Run was a 5k course with 14 ...

I took my oldest son to see this movie as a surprise for his 7th  birthday.  We saw it in 3D at 11 in the morning and had the whole theater to ourselves.  The movie was great and having a little father/son bonding time was even better.

I saw one at the British Museum in London in the late 1980s when my family was stationed over there.  They had a huge collection of Egyptian artifacts and there were some mummies among them.

For family vacation 2014 we camped out in Stone Mountain park in Georgia.   

Also called "raccoon dogs" and native to southeast Asia and really neat looking. I didn't know it when we went to the Zoo Atlanta but they had several of these critters.  They were really cute in person.

Komodo dragons and three different animals that were on my bucketlist to see made this a great trip!

I've been working on figuring out how many movies I've watched over my life and it's looking like some where near 1,200 so far.  Next goal will have to be a higher figure!

Went to see the Montgomery Biscuits play the Jacksonville Suns with my Sunday school class.  We had a great time and got to witness the first no-hitter ever played at Riverwalk Stadium as the Biscuits won 3-0.

Finally got some new little notebooks.  Now I just have to fill them up too!
