Kentucky Ridge (my second church) has a huge bell in the front by the cemetery. Before some of our events, dad would let me go out and ring it much to the amusement of some of the older members, and to the chagrin of others. -

Twas the AK-47 My grandpa used to take me out by the horse lot, and we'd practice hitting paint buckets, or sparrows (poor things, but in our defence, they were often pests). -

I was three or four when I went on a trip out west with my family. I barely remember much of it, but Old Faithful definitely made an impression. -

Last Spring, the second graders that I worked with loved watching the caterpillars form their chrysalises, and emerge as Monarchs. So much symbolism. -

My first time was when I went surfing on a school camp. The water was well below freezing and our supervisor had obviously never seen the sea before. It was a great experience and I would love to continue doing it more. -
