I'm almost finished! Currently on generation 9 but I've been working on this for so long. The attached photo is of the founder of this legacy, her name is Oriana Hardy :).

Ever since I first visited Iceland in 2010, I've loved the horses they have there. I've always wanted to get better at taking photos, and to get a good shot of one of these beauties. The other day while traveling in West Iceland, I mana...

I climbed this mountain when I was seven years old. When I got to the top, some Scottish guy called me a 'wee hero'!
  • Dec 15, 2015

In the summer of 2010 (NZ winter) I went to New Zealand and carried out conservation volunteer work. It was pretty much the best time ever.
  • Dec 15, 2015

I went here today for the second time. It couldn't have been more amazing. Watching the sun rise, and even seeing a double rainbow while soaking in the warmth of that pool. Perfect.
  • Dec 15, 2015

I volunteered all over new Zealand, and then I travelled around it and had some fun.

I am now a graduate from the University of Hull, with a BSc Honours in Geography!

So, when I was in new Zealand, I visited the glow worm caves. To get into the caves, you need to abseil! I didn't know this until I got there, but luckily you get a quick lesson and lots of support :)

I saw these for the first time in September 2011 while on a field trip in Iceland. I also saw them in Alta, Norway in 2013, Rovaniemi, Finland in 2014 and last week in Seltjanarnes, Iceland! It's unforgettable and definitely worth seeing.

I think I've carved some in the past, but I never remembered. This year, my friend invited my over on the night before Halloween to carve some, the results are in the photos attached! We all did one each, mine is the one with the moon s...

I love the stars, and space, and basically everything to do with nature. While I was photographing the northern lights in Iceland, I accidentally achieved this goal! So, it's not the best photo, but whatever.
  • Dec 9, 2015

I'm in Iceland now for the second time. I've always wanted to be here, and to come back for another time is amazing. There's so much to do here, everyone should visit.
  • Dec 10, 2014

I know this is probably a bit weird, but I've always loved the idea of going to finland, all because I'm a huge nightwish fan. In December 2014, I booked up and spent 10 amazing days in Rovaniemi.

    Dec 10, 2014

I've been to two ice bars now; the first was in Queenstown, New Zealand, and the other was in Santa Claus Village in Finland :).    It's an amazing experience, and definitely worth doing.
  • Bear Hill Husky, Rovaniemi, Finland
    Dec 4, 2014

So, last year in Rovaniemi, Finland, I booked a day with Bear Hill Husky and had an amazing time with their alaskan huskies. I had a team of male dogs, I don't remember all of their names but they were so good and they clearly loved what...

In December 2013, I visited Alta, Norway for 5 days. I ate reindeer, I saw the northern lights, and I explored the beautiful surroundings and Lake there.
  • Sep 15, 2010

This was incredible. I'd recommend it to anyone, even if you feel you're a little too scared to do it, do it anyways. The guides are so helpful and friendly, and honestly, you won't regret it.

    Sep 9, 2010

Firstly, I'm not a big fan of fast moving water, so things like waterfalls and white water rafting aren't really my thing. When I was in New Zealand, I signed up for the optional activities package with the volunteer group I was with, an...

At University, I studied BSc Geography which meant I learnt a lot about volcanoes. I also went on two trips abroad; one to Tenerife and one to Iceland. In Tenerife I climbed Mount Teide, and in Iceland I climbed Mount Hekla. As well as...

I moved away to University, and it was the best thing ever.

To be honest, I wasn't too impressed. I don't particularly like cities and human related things when compared to nature though, so that's probably why.

Basically, I hate needles. I do however, hate the idea of someone dying because I'm too cowardly to face my fear even more. So, since I was 17, I've been donating blood. It's not as scary as it seems, just make sure to drink plenty of wa...
